Meet the Compiler

About the Compiler of the Buckeye Lake Christmas Bird Count

Jeffrey White has been participating on the Buckeye Lake Bird Count, among several other Ohio bird counts, since he was a teenager.

He agreed to become compiler of the Buckeye Lake count starting in 1987. The compiler’s role is to set the date of the count, enlist volunteer observers, organize teams and coverage of the count circle, collect the results from each team, compile the data, and submit the report to National Audubon Society.

You can contact Jeffrey here.
